What is Hydroseeding?

Hydroseeding is a process where seed and fiber mulch are mixed and sprayed onto bare soil. The mulch acts as a binder to prevent soil erosion and helps retain moisture, making it more effective than traditional seeding. Often surpassing the results of sod, hydroseeding is significantly cheaper for large areas.

To ensure the best possible results, we include additional amendments as standard. These enhancements, such as fertilizer, binding agents, and moisture reservoirs, promote rapid germination, uniform growth, and a healthy, vibrant lawn.

Is Hydroseeding Right for Me?

1

Cost

Hydroseeding is a cost-effective alternative to sod and traditional seeding, especially for large areas. By incorporating mulch, fertilizer, and other additives in a single treatment, hydroseeding promotes faster germination and better uniformity. This comprehensive approach reduces the need for additional treatments, making it an economical choice for lawn establishment.

2

Time

Hydroseeding promotes rapid germination, allowing the lawn to reach regular maintenance readiness much faster than traditional seeding, which can take months. While sod provides an instant lawn, hydroseeding offers a cost-effective solution with seamless, natural growth, achieving a lush, green lawn efficiently.

3

Quality

Hydroseeding delivers uniformly dense and lush growth, superior to traditional seeding and sod. Traditional seeding often results in uneven patches, while sod may have visible seams and mismatches. Hydroseeding ensures seamless, consistent growth, resulting in a vibrant, healthy lawn. This method promotes robust and resilient turf, making it a superior choice for long-term lawn quality and aesthetics.
